# About Me

<figure><img src="/files/Xco03LEBkICIswHss4jq" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

I'm Padmalaya Rawal, an Electronics Engineer cum maker from India. I love to bake and break robots. And before 2020 I was just blowing up ICs, resistors, capacitors and what not. In Nov 2020, I bought my new toy, Ender 3 V2 (a 3D printer) which was not less than an infinity stone for me and begin tinkering with it day and night (All thanks to COVID-19). And in 2022, I started Electroboffin as a blog website and in 2023, I registered "Electroboffin" and turned it into an ecommerce website where I can sell my creations.

<summary>Why I started building VoidBot?</summary>

Robots never fail to fascinate me since my childhood and was always wanted to a robotics engineer but was not able to land at a university that offers Robotics engineering. But for me robotics is just a combination of three pillars viz., Electronics, mechanical and Computer science. So, I started gathering as much information as I can to make my own robots. And I struggled a lot in finding the resources that works for everyone every time. And if any of my friend wants to build the same bot, they again have to mess with the planning again that I did. With VoidBot, I'm trying to solve as many such issues as I can to lower the entry barriers in robotics.
